MINNEAPOLIS-MADRID-MÁS 〰️
In 2025, I graduated from the University of Minnesota with my Bachelor’s in Psychology, Political Science, and Spanish—I’m a humanities mutt of sorts.
During my time abroad and throughout my final year of university, I unearthed within myself a deep passion for human rights advocacy and uplifting the voices of the oppressed.
I am pursuing my Master’s degree in 2027 at la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where I will be studying derechos humanos y la gobernanza (human rights and international governance.
My writing, my spiritual path, and my quest for knowledge are not separate threads of my identity, but rather an interwoven cord that connects the fabric of my very essence.
From a young age, my parents put me into Spanish classes, and consequently I’ve been learning and loving in Spanish ever since. Developing mastery in one of the Romance languages led me to discover an affinity for the rest, and thus I am on the journey of refining my French, Portuguese, and Italian, with the hopes of eventually returning to my native Vietnamese as well.
I believe that we learn languages because we have an intrinsic desire to connect.
We come from tribal cultures; we are meant to be in union with one another.
All of these different aspects- the spiritual, the linguistic, psycho-social, and political—they are all but different faces of humanity. I seek to do my part in reconciling the mysteries of life and to use my knowledge in the pursuit of mutual understanding and shared wisdom.
