TIGRE ESOTERICA

There are as many forms of spirituality, of divinity, as there are people who walk the earth.

Tigre Esoterica is my personal ministry. How I make sense of this gift we call life.

Enclosed, you will find the contents of my soul.

Please tread with care.

Astrology

I view astrology as the map to your soul’s mythos. A snapshot of the cosmos at the moment you were born.

  • My journey with astrology goes back to my childhood.

I remember being in 3rd grade and writing an essay about Scorpios (my sun) just for the fun of it and turning it in to my teacher at the time.

Before I knew about the different systems, the houses, and aspects, I had a deep intrinsic understanding of the different archetypes that comprise the Zodiac.

From my perspective, whether you’re a skeptic or a devout practitioner, anyone can take something away from learning about their birth chart because you learn what resonates and what doesn’t.

Astrology is a language of symbols and archetypes. Throughout our session, I will break down what that means, and more importantly, what it means to you.

    Come as you are.

    That is enough.

  • I offer a range of astrological services depending on your needs and price point.

I believe in accessibility, and that everyone should be able to receive spiritual care when they need it.

At the same time, I believe everything in this life is an exchange of energy. My sliding scale is an invitation to meet yourself—and the work—with intention.

  • The tarot is an ancient system of mysticism that has its roots in 15th century.

Originally, it began as a card game in Italy. Over the years, it gradually evolved into a robust divination system with roots in the Jewish Qaballah (a branch of Jewish mysticism) until the early 20th century where the Rider-Waite deck we all know and love today was birthed.

The tarot has a unique connection with both the Tree of Life, as well as serving as its own kind of reality map for whatever inquiry, question, or qualm you may be encountering. The limits to what the tarot may divine is only as limited as your imagination is.

  • My academic and professional formation has been that of serving my community. I have my undergraduate degree in psychology, political science, and Spanish, and I’ve since used my education to implement my own interdisciplenary pedagogy. I am deeply influenced by the writings of bell hooks, Paulo Fiere, and James Baldwin, and the readings that I give are informed by a lens that seeks to understand and reconcile the interconnected nature of trauma, tragedy, and hope.

My background in psychology harmonizes with the tarot. I see the discipline as the perfect confluence of the “rational” and the spiritual, which is to say the unseen forces we all feel, but can’t quite always explain.

The act of interpreting the tarot is both an art and a science. The latter is in that there are concrete symbols, a distinct system that constitutes the flow of the tarot, and the former is in the way a reading is delivered.

Tarot has always been a medium of self-reflection, and is purposefully malleable to be suited to as many people as there are readers and readees.

It is meant to aid you in the search for rediscovering your own divinity.

It flows as deep as you allow yourself to go.

Tarot

Decks & oracles

I primarily use the Lilifer deck by Marion Costentin, the traditional Rider Waite tarot, and the Chakra Insight Oracle by Caryn Sangster and Amy Edwards.

“I advise you, whoever you are, who wish to explore the mysteries of nature, if you do not find within yourself that which you seek, neither shall you find it outside. If you ignore the excellencies of your own house, how do you intend to find excellence elsewhere? Within you is hidden the treasure of treasures. Oh, man, know yourself and you shall know the Universe and the Gods!”

—Inscription at the entrance of the ancient temple of the Oracle of Delphi

The spiritual path is twofold.

The beginning and the continuing.
